Seo Link Monster Review Avoid at all cost

After my initial blurbs on what I thought about Seo Link Monster, I have decided to give it a bit more of a through looking over. There is some confusion on what SEO link monster actually does and what can be expected from it. So the following is a brief intro and overview of the service offered. As I learn more I will evolve this part.

Seo Link Monster What it does

There is a whole history about who created this service, which personally I don’t give a crap about. If you want to read about that there are plenty of people who will talk about this. The service is an article syndication service (that is the best word that comes to mind). It is designed to place you spun content on various blogs. These blogs unlike other networks, are actually owned by the network outright. The network of blogs are supposedly huge, although there is no true way of finding this information.

The other hyped quality about this network is that the domains contained there in are aged and has trust associated with it from Google’s point of view. This review will be basing on where Seo Link Monster Actual delivers and what can be found about from the service.

First impressions are:-

  • Cost is $147 a month, and is the most expensive article syndication type system out there.
  • There is poor editorial control about what content actually gets published.  There by allowing weak and badly spun articles to be published. Great news for some marketeers and not so good as with enough bad content on a given site. It will be going down regardless of age.
  • Very poor link reporting tool. YES you do end up with the url of your link, however you get the entire link report in one list. There is no way to distinguish which article was published?
  • Each Article is supposedly published/syndicated 14 times a day.
  • Each article can have up to 3 links.
  • There fore Each article has a potential to get (14*3*29) 1218 links a month
  • It is unclear whether the article continues to be syndicated after the month or stops.
  • The spinning function given in house and supported is a poor one. No mention about how to place image links or other media links to make your post more unique. Yet alone ways to actually spin media and image links
  • Some support for html spinning

######## Review on 16th March 2012#####################################################

I have done some extensive test on the network, really the crux of the matter is that I have stopped the subscription and filed to get my money back. Something which I have managed.  The whole selling point of this network was that it was supposedly 100% privately owned, and each domains was aged and was trusted with lots of links. Hence acquiring a link from that network would be deemed useful. The fact is that though my articles were syndicated, and were indexed they posed little actual value. The domains they were on were poorly designed, crap newly bought domains.

They offered no seo value to me that would justify the cost of $140+ a month. That is the end of that, this network in my opinion is pure hype and bull shit. If you are looking for low power network that provides in content type links then just use Unique article Wizard. There are other networks with really good value however, as they are extremely expensive I am not mentioning them here. There I do (and happily) spend $990 a month on one network to syndicate content on. I will try and do a review for them sometime soon.

########  Review on 7th Febuary 2012 ####################################################

This is a quick post and will be expanding on this, I have been trying out Seo link monster, and after its general release today. I am sure most of you would have got a number of e-mails on this. Having looked at this set up I would honestly say avoid this service. So many people are bumping this I am sure because they offer a reoccurring commission. However, I have serious doubts about the sustainability of this network and they fact that its not all that good to begin with..I will do a detailed review shortly but remember you have been WARNED  seolinkmonster

I was thinking the same, the other networks they had were not the best either.

Have you had any experience with Linkauthority.com? Just came across this yesterday.

    Cheers

Very interested in your detail review. I just signed up a couple days and submitted my first article today. Because of the cost though, I doubt I stay longer that the first month.

$147 a month for a service like that, no, wouldn’t say that’s a good investment at all. Couldn’t you just have outsourced at that price to get more targeted links?

Are you doing any testing Mansoor & Jason? Would be interesting to see what results you get.

Can you submit as many articles as you like per month?

How would you compare it (so far) against Unique Article Wizard?

You can submit as many articles you like per month, no issues there. As far as UAW goes, well too early to tell. UAW problem for me is that it promises a lot however in reality I only get 200+ links for 3 articles, which sounds like too much work for me.

Remember the big selling point for SEO link monster was that it is supposedly on aged and trusted domains, however from what I am seeing that is a GROSS over sell and, majority of the domains are crap and new ones..The indexation rate however is really good lol

I am using seolinkmonster right now (its been 5 days now) and when I take a look at who’s linking to me I see one thing…..they are all CRAP websites. It really seems like his link building network is all made up and there are NO good website there. I’m not a SEO specialist yet, but I do know one thing: to get good google ranking, you need GOOD quality links.

It is true that you get a lot of links to your website…but what are they worth?

I will keep using the service until the end of the month, but it doesn’t look like I’ll keep my subscription too long!!!

I would love to see someone who has been using it for a while telling me that it really does work…and prove it! But all the reviews I can see are people trying to make some money through affialiate marketing….so of course they all say that’s its so great!!

  7. February 17, 2012 at 12:45 pm #

Yeah with UAW I only get about 100 submission per set of 3 articles. My VA writes the articles so I let her get on with that. Not seen great results from it but not sure what else to try.

I know I keep going on about it but so far, with Link Authority, I’ve seen good results and the sites all have PR of 2 and above.

I know you only get one link per 150 word article but surely one good link from a PR2+ site is better than 100 from non-PR sites?

What other tools are people using and are happy to endorse? That is the question!

I dont like Link authority type systems. It all really depends on what is the purpose of using a particular tool. I use SENUKE X only because I have a lifetime licence for it! But I find that taking the time and creating a particular article/property etc means that it become less and less likely for it to be deleted or deindexed.

Ofcourse making articles is just ONE step.. Do this as a simple test..

      1) Build 10 web 2.0s by hand
      2) First post must contain nothing spun and no links
      3) Let it sit there for 1 week
      4) Second post with your article with 2 maximum 3 links
      5) Let it sit there again for a week. Check to make sure everything is alive
      6) Build 30 web 2.0 and each of them follow steps from 1-4 (this time the links will be TO your 10 web 2.0 sites)
      7) Use scrapebox blast to blast your 30 web 2.0s with couple of thousand comment links. There is a lot more that can be done but this is just the start.. Try it it should be enough to get you out of more places. If you wanted to be creative you would use UAW and point links from that to the 10 web2.0s

  8. February 17, 2012 at 1:31 pm #

Sounds good. Should the articles for step 4 be totally original too or can they be spun?

Are there any particular Web 2.0 sites to use?

Sounds like a lot of work but I’m trying really hard not to be a lazy b@stard this year as its not got me far in life so far!

This is just a general question but Is it worth having more than one link for a page to the same site? EG: a page on a Web 2.0 or wherever has two or three links all pointing to the same domain but with different anchor text? Does google look at all two or three links or just count one of them? Would it be better to link to two or three different sites/domains from one article/Web 2.0 or is it OK to point all links to the same site?

    Thanks.

Articles in step 4 can be spun as long as its a good spin and pass a manual review. Most web 2.0 sites would do there is no particular preference from me. This is really not a lot of work and remember this is the MINIMUM standard.

As far as links go, if you do http://www.site.com|Keyword 1 and http://www.site.com|Keyword 2 then google generally indexes the first link it sees and ignores the other however you can do http://www.site.com|Keyword 1 and http://www.site.com/internal-page|keyword 2 and that will be fine. There is zero seo benefit of pointing all links from one page to the same page on another domain.

Thanks for clarifying. Will put it on the to do list. I already have quite a few Web 2.0 sites that I got setup months ago so might be able to use those if they are still live?

      age is better.. as always..

Unfortunately, I don’t really test correctly. I just throw some things at a site and see if it works. But I usually end up doing a few different things at once.

I can second Monsoor’s and Seb’s comments below regarding the quality of the sites themselves. All the sites I’ve looked at are crap. I’m definitely not renewing for $147.

They had a webinar for members last night. I only caught the tail end, but there were some comments from the presenter about not providing the URLs because they’ve had some of their other networks blacklisted by Google.

I’m in the process of setting up some web 2.0 sites that will link back to my main sites and other links that go to the web 2.0 sites similar to as you mentioned above. My question in what type of links should these be, just urls, anchor text related to your main site or the actual keywords the main site is going for. I ask because I dont want google to focus on the web 2 sites for my keywords but should they be on topic or is it simply the strength from links flowing through these sites and eventually to the main site.

Thanks for any advice you can give!

I personally always prefer anchor text that are related to your main keywords, and if possible include your main keywords

The scariest aspect of this product is doing a google search on “seo link monster reviews” and getting the first 3 pages in total articles written and placed by the authors of the software. And the grammar in the website itself if horrible — shows total lack of detail. So after reading this review and the other comments — I passed on it.

Any recommendations out there for something good?

Lol yeah and I have since cancelled the subscription.. waste of time and money..I am also looking for alternatives, there are a few however very very pricy

      • March 16, 2012 at 9:00 pm #

I cancelled as well. I’ve never requested a refund when I’ve actually used a service. However, in this case, I requested a refund as I found the sites (look/PR) were far from advertised. Refund was prompt.

I absolutely agree. Seo Link Monster is totally overpriced. It relies upon a link network of questionable quality and relevance. Both of which are deadly for SEO positioning.

  14. April 2, 2012 at 8:05 pm #

SEO Link monster, the bane of my life. I’m afraid that I am probably just another sucker then got tempted by their marketing, they’re certainly very good at selling themselves. However, the product itself with just a huge hype and in my opinion will really not benefit you at all, and certainly not worth the amount of money they are asking each month. I myself had one hell of a problem trying to cancel my subscription, they did not acknowledge me at all, I ended up having to complain the PayPal who were fantastic and made sure that I got all my money back. Beware of SEO Link monster and take my advice, give them a very wide berth indeed.

Ashleen, Intresting however every single domain that i had my link placed on was new, really crap or no backlink profile and it seemed like was askig for trouble.

  16. April 8, 2012 at 10:12 pm #

Were you over the 30 day mark with your subscription? I gave them the benefit of the doubt to get the links but the only thing I got was dropped from google linking on my keywords. I had three sites I was submitting articles for and one site was over 12 years old and I lost rankings, and paid them over $200 for 2 months. I just canceled the subscription today so it didn’t charge me the third month.
